Happy Monday...Three weeks into the new year. Woo hooo....
I am sort of late with this post....Sorry..I did not make any new years resolutions. I use to make all these promises and NEVER keep any of them. So, for the past few years I just stopped. The only thing that I plan to do it to continue losing weight and hit the gym like I did before the holidays. I think about my friend bekah, and also the zumba instructor at the gym and my personal trainer, she is 8 months pregnant and is STILL teaching the class and working out. I am just amazed at how she is going through this pregnancy and still able to work out with her "extra" bundle. So, with that being said, I have no excuses!!
Bekah has told be before that I should try and eat eggs for the protein and also because it is filling.When we first talked about me eating habits and I explained to her what my breakfast consisted of. I tried an egg and sausage sandwich. I didn't like it! I just don't like eggs. I can stomach the egg mcmuffin from McDonald's, which I know is a powdered egg, but I can eat that somewhat.
Well, the other day I was out running errands and I decided to try the breakfast at Subway. I ordered the egg whites with bacon and cheese on flat bread. Actually, it wasn't that bad for a newbie of egg whites. The only thing is I couldn't finish the entire flat bread. I only ate half and my dad at the other half.( sssh...he'll eat anything) That day was a work day and it actually held me until dinner. I was happy about that! Would I order it again? Yes, I would! Maybe I would add more eat or something to it so I wont taste so much the egg. I think that's defeating the purpose of going healthy. But I will try it again. Perhaps, this week! Wish me luck...xo
