PICKING FLOWERS!

Besides being in TJ Maxx two days in a row, I had a superb day! Friday I took a trip to TJ Maxx. Yes, its a trip because I have to drive about 45 mninutes. I miss those hop skip and a jump trips to the mall which was 20 minutes from my house in NY. Anyway, I honestly went to just look. hehehehe... Now that you have stopped laughing, I seriously went to browse.   


From TJ Maxx I ended up getting a carrier for my tablet that I had purchased a couple of months ago. Mom asked me to go to Lowes to pick out some flowers for her to plant in her flower bed.

Me picking out flowers?


That truly is NOT my type of shopping! Actually, it didn't go as bad as I thought. At this Lowes and perhaps at the rest of them, at the back of the gardening section they have flowers on clearance. I think its the flowers they have not watered and they are about to die but not quite yet. There was this lady back in that section picking flowers and I was eaves dropping and she said that the flowers only needed to be watered and that they weren't that bad. So I began picking the flowers along with her that weren't so dry. Amazing that these flowers were $1. Yes! $1. I even found one for 50 cents and in the front they had some for 88 cents. My mom said that I did a good job!

I am the shoes and handbag shopper! But it didn't turn out to be that bad. I don't know if this would be a regular thing but hey! I may pick some "dried out flowers" again!
